Cancellations are a difficult affair for both us and prospective customers. We therefore try to approach it with a “common sense” attitude. You must be aware that there is a financial implication to cancelling a trip at the last minute as all of our set costs are the same and we only take a maximum of 25 customers. We also pre-book many of the activities undertaken on the day of your trip, all of which are non refundable.

If you cancel due to sickness and we are unable to place you on another trip, you can go to the doctors and obtain a medical certificate. We can then issue you with a receipt for the money paid to Samuidaytours, all of which can be claimed back from the majority of holiday insurance providers. In the case of sickness we will try to move you to an alternative date, but the cancellation policy still stands.

If we decide to cancel due to bad weather, we will have done so taking into consideration the groups safety and that of the vessel as well as predicted weather forecasts and satellite images. If we cancel due to bad weather then you will not be charged. If a deposit has been taken, the money will be refunded if an alternate day can not be agreed upon.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the trip, 100% of the total cost will be charged. No Show 100% Charge. Change of date 50% extra charge.

Please take note of the following cancellation policy before booking a SAMUI DAY TOURS ADVENTURES. Thank you for your understanding.

Visa Run to Kota Bharu Malaysia
Visa Run to Kota Bharu, Malaysia (3 days and 2 nights)   You can get your visa renewed with Samuidaytours stress free and relaxing three-day trip to Kota Bharu in Malaysia. The trip ensures that your time is put to good use, allowing you to shop and explore whenever possible.   It is not uncommon for people visiting Koh Samui to want to extend their stay. In the past, people had to leave Thailand to get their visas renewed and their stay extended, but now you can take the visa run directly from Koh Samui to the Royal Thai consulate in Kota Bharu in Malaysia.   Your Visa Run Journey The journey begins as you head to Raja Ferry pier in Lipa Noi and board the ferry to Donsak. From there you will be received by Herbert, a multilingual Austrian who has been living in Koh Samui for several years and runs these professional trips and visa runs. It won’t be wrong to say that he is a visa expert. From the pier, you will board a mini-bus, and the mini-buses will leave together for the Thai-Malaysian border.   You will reach your destination for the day in the evening and stay at a hotel on the Thai side of the border. Before going to sleep, your passport, paperwork, and visa fee will be collected and kept safe while you sleep to ensure you have everything you need to get your visa and to avoid accidents or loss.   The buses will leave early in the morning the next day, at 5 AM, and cross the Thai border as soon as it opens. During the crossing, you have to get your passports stamped as you leave Thailand and enter Malaysia. On the other side of the border, taxis will be waiting to take you straight to Kota Bharu.   You will be dropped at the KB shopping mall when it opens, and Herbert will take your passport and visa application so that they can be processed and stamped at the Royal Thai Consulate. Your passports will be returned to you around 2:30 PM, and then you will begin your journey back on taxis.   This is where the return part of your Koh Samui visa run begins. You will cross border back into Thailand where a mini-bus will be waiting for you. Given the ferry schedules, you will stop at Hat Yai for five hours to freely enjoy the nightlife and explore the area, go to clubs, enjoy the scenery, etc.   And at 1 AM, the mini bus will take you to Donsak so that you can take the 6 AM ferry back to Koh Samui. That’s all!   If you’re looking for a fast and efficient way to get a legal and long stay visa in only 42 hours, book your visa run from Koh Samui with Samuidaytours.   Disclaimer: The visa run transportation service is run by sub-contractors, and the cars have a First-class Insurance that covers damages and accidents to the sum of 500,000 Thai Bahts per person. Samuidaytours accepts no liability for claims above this amount and you join this journey by your own free will.

Koh Samui to Koh Tao
Travelling by ferry is the only budget-friendly way of travelling to Koh Tao from Koh Samui. The ferry services run several times a day.   Lomprayah Catamaran Ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao   It takes around an hour and forty-five minutes to get to Koh Tao via the Lomprayah Catamaran ferry from Koh Samui. Transfer from your hotel to the pier in Maenam is included in the package. You will be picked up from your hotel ninety minutes before departure, although the timing may vary depending on where you are located in Koh Samui. When you reach the pier, you will exchange your voucher for a ferry ticket before you can board the ferry. There will be staff that will help you with putting the luggage on the boat, since the luggage is kept in the front to keep the aisles open.   There is ample seating and room for luggage on the Lomprayah ferry. Its boats are very well maintained. They are air-conditioned, include a sundeck and toilet facilities, as well as a small shop that sells food and snacks at reasonable prices. There are several TVs in the cabin on board that play movies during the journey to keep you entertained.   Seatran Ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao   Seatran ferry is comparatively slow and takes about two hours, but it is sturdier than the Lomprayah and can handle strong waves with more stability; it is ideal for people who tend to suffer from seasickness.   A transfer from your hotel to the pier in an air-conditioned mini-bus is included, and you will be picked up an hour before departure. The boats are air-conditioned as well with the same features as the ones mentioned above, including massage facilities, snack shop, and toilets.   Private Speed Boats to Koh Tao   You can also go to Koh Tao on a private speedboat, which is recommended for groups and families, or anyone who wants to travel on a time they want but when ferries aren’t available. Moreover, speedboats are not only faster than ferries but they also drop you right outside your hotel on Koh Tao. For rates or questions, please visit out private speedboat transfer to Koh Tao page.

Koh Samui to Hua Hin
Koh Samui to Hua Hin by Bus   It takes about nine hours to reach Hua Hin from Koh Samui via bus; the buses have both VIP and economy seats available. All the buses for Hua Hin leave from the Nathon Bus Station.   The journey to Hua Hin will begin with a hotel transfer to Nathon Bus Terminal; you will be picked up from your hotel an hour before departure, on a mini-bus. This journey includes a ninety-minute ferry ride to the mainland in Donsak. You and the bus both board the ferry separately, and then continue the journey from Donsak.   The bus will stop midway in the journey at a Thai service station, where you will find shops, restaurants, and toilet facilities. Movies are also played in the buses but they are normally in Thai language.   Koh Samui to Hua Hin by Ferry   The journey to Hua Hin from Koh Samui totals nine hours; these services are operated by local ferry companies that arrange transfers between Koh Samui, Koh Tao, and Koh Phangan. There is one extra stop at the port town of Chumphon in this journey, toward the north west of Koh Tao. From the mainland there, a bus will take you to Hua Hin, which will be a five-hour journey.   Since you will be on the ferry for a significant part of the journey, you won’t have to worry about staying seated all the way. You can walk around and stretch your legs and bask in the sun on the ferry, or you can just rest inside in the air-conditioned cabin. The ferry has bathroom facilities, a shop for food and snacks, and movies are played for entertainment both on the ferry and on the bus from Chumphon. Once you reach Chumphon, you will have a break of half an hour to rest and grab a bite from the restaurant. This package includes transfer from your hotel in Koh Samui to the ferry pier, one hour before departure.   In Hua Hin, you will be dropped at the Hua Hin Marker Village, a place where you will easily find tuk-tuks, taxis, and songthaews to proceed with your travels.   Koh Samui to Hua Hin by Train   Trains are one of the best ways to sightsee quickly, no matter where in the world you are. It takes twelve hours to get to Hua Hin from Koh Samui. Although this journey is longer compared to the bus ride to Hua Hin, it is the experience that makes it worth it. During the train journey, you can interact with people more comfortable, meet like-minded people, and can share stories and learn from fellow travelers. Moreover, the trains have the comfort of berths so you can sleep comfortably and reach your destination with full energy.   Our train ride package includes a transfer from your hotel to Nathon Bus Station, from where you will take the bus to Surat Thani train station. Getting from Koh Samui to the mainland involves a ninety-minute ferry ride. Once you reach Surat Thani, a mini-bus will transport you to the train station.   For the train ride, you can choose to travel in first class sleeper, second-class sleeper, or second-class seating. The train is very popular among tourists, especially during festivals, like Full Moon, Xmas, New Year, Songkran (Thai New Year) and Loy Krathong, so make sure to book your ticket in advance.   The most comfortable ones among the aforementioned are the first class sleepers. They are secure, lockable, have air conditioning, sleeping compartments with two berths, and have clean beddings for both berths. Bathrooms are also available, situated at the end of each carriage: the bathrooms include fresh water shower as well. The passengers who are travelling alone will have to share the compartment with another passenger; if they want full occupancy, they will have to pay 500 Bahts extra. Both berths can be converted into sofas to recline and relax during mornings and evenings. If you are after comfort, luxury, and privacy, first class sleepers are for you.   Popular amongst youngsters and backpackers due to their affordability are the second-class sleepers; they also save cost on hotels. The berths are comfortable and structured in a dorm-style manner against the walls of the carriage, on the central aisle. The berth on the top is slightly narrow but it also costs 100 Thai Bahts less in price. There is ample room for the luggage as well. They are available in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned carriages. The latter costs 200 Thai Bahts less. Your bags are safe on the train, but to be extra safe, keep your bags locked. When the journey begins, there are two seats facing each other, but they can be pulled together to form a bunk later on. The upper bunk folds out from the wall. The train staff will hook up curtains for privacy and also lay down fresh sheets on your berth.   The cheapest among all of them are the second-class seats; they are recommended for people who are on a budget. The carriages are modern and have air-conditioning and comfortable seats that can recline enough for you to sleep on. Light meals are also served on board.   Koh Samui to Hua Hin by Air   There are no direct flights from Koh Samui to Hua Hin. And, it is neither feasible nor affordable to try and get connecting flights for Hua Hin from Koh Samui, because the modes of transport that are available get you there just as fast but in the fraction of the cost.   Private Transfers to Hua Hin   We also offer private transfers to Hua Hin, just like we do for most of our destinations. A private transfer service includes a car or a mini-bus, depending on the number of people, and a chauffeur who will pick you up from your hotel and drive you all the way to your destination. This is often faster than other public transports. Please do note that a ferry transfer is involved when going from Koh Samui to Hua Hin, and the ferry tickets for the passengers are not included in our price. (120 Thai Baht.)

You can book with Samuidaytours right now and avail our fantastic deals on all transfers.   If you ask us, we believe that the best way to get from Koh Samui to Penang is by travelling via bus and ferry. It is an affordable option that also allows you to see much of Thailand during your journey.   Note: Once you cross the border into Malaysia, remember the time difference is +1 hour from Thailand.   You can get from Koh Samui to Penang in Malaysia in any of the following ways:   Koh Samui to Penang by Bus and Ferry   There is one daily bus that leaves from Koh Samui for Penang in Malaysia, and it takes about twelve-hours to get there. The journey begins when you are picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned mini-bus and transported to Nathon Bus Station. At the station you have to exchange the printed voucher you have for the bus and ferry tickets—you can do this at the check-in counter. Then you will get aboard the bus for Hat Yai. From Hat Yao, the main transport hub of south Thailand, you will switch your bus and proceed with the journey to cross the Thai-Malaysian border at Sadao and get into Malaysia, moving toward Penang.   The bus ride from Koh Samui includes a ninety-minute ferry ride to get to mainland in Donsak. The ferries are large, stable, spacious, air-conditioned, and feature toilets and snack shop. They are well maintained and go through maintenance checks periodically under Thai Navy. The bus from Donsak will head to Surat Thani station, which will take eighty-minutes, and from that station you will change your bus for Hat Yai. The changeover time is half an hour, which allows you to freshen up, use the toilets, eat, and buy snacks if you want.   When you reach Hat Yai, you will have half an hour before you have to take the mini- bus and head to the Thai-Malaysian border. The journey to the border is forty-five minutes long, and it takes half an hour to get your passport stamped at the Malaysian border controls. You will come out at the Malaysian side of the border, board the bus, and continue the journey to Penang, which will take three hours.   Koh Samui to Penang by Train   The journey is initially the same as mentioned above till the Surat Thani station. When you reach Surat Thani, you will have some hours before the train for Butterworth arrives, so you can go around and explore the city, its nightlife, restaurants, etc. The train for Butterworth arrives at 2 am in the morning and only consists of Second-class sleepers.   The Second-class sleepers are rather popular as they help you save money that would otherwise be spent on hotel rents. The berths in the Second-class sleepers are arranged in dormitory style along a central aisle. The upper berth is cheaper by a 100 Thai Bahts, but it is also a bit narrow. Since it is a night train, your bed will already be made with fresh linen and curtains will be attached for your privacy. In the morning, you can fold the berths into seats.   When you reach Butterworth, you then have to begin the final part of the journey, which is a short ferry ride that will take you to Penang Island. (This is not included.)   Koh Samui to Penang by Air   Koh Samui does not have any direct flights for Penang, but if you want to travel by air, you can catch a plane for Kuala Lumpur and then get a connecting flight to Penang from there. Full Moon Party – Koh Samui Speed Boat Transfer
About Speed Boat Transfers   The Full Moon Party held on Haad Rin beach in Koh Phangan in Thailand is famous all over the world. It draws up to 30,000 people every full moon.   With such massive number of people heading to Koh Phangan for every full moon party, Koh Samui has various transfer services to transport people to the Haad Rin beach, but you might be wondering which of them is the best. The best one is, without a doubt, the speedboat; it only takes twenty-five minutes to get to the beach from Koh Samui.   The ferry services take you to Thong Sala, but the speedboats take you directly to the Haad Rin beach where the full moon party is held, which means that once you get there, you can start partying right away, instead of getting taxis from the pier in Koh Phangan and finding your way to the beach. The total cost of getting to the beach by either means is pretty much the same, but you save an hour approximately if you take the speedboat. Speedboats are also more convenient as they leave more frequently, about every hour, as compared to ferry services.   Travelling to the full moon party via a speedboat is very safe as well, as it is regulated by the Marine Police on both ends; they make sure that the boats follow all the safety protocols and do not overload with passengers.   Our team only includes sailors and staff who take the job seriously. They will ensure that you get to the Haad Rin beach for the party and back, safe and sound, so the only thing you will have to do is have a blast at the party. Please note that everyone will be required to wear a life jacket; seasickness medications will be available before departure (free of cost).   What you can expect at the Full Moon Party?   The Full Moon Party is a tradition that began in the mid 1980s, when a group of tourists arranged a get together with their friends to enjoy the beautiful spectacle. As the years passed, the number of people grew and now about 10,000 to 30,000 people visit the beach every full moon to celebrate.   The part actually starts at sunset, when revelers fill the one-kilometer beach, wearing swimsuits, full moon vests, as well as fluorescent body paint. The Haad Rin beach is also known as the Sunrise Beach, and it offers something to everyone. It is filled with open-air clubs and bars that play different types of music, alcohol bucket vendors, stalls of food, and a lot more. The party goes on until sunrise when you get to witness the beautiful spectacle that has become the beach’s namesake.   There is a lot to see in Koh Phangan as the locals entertain everyone with fire eating, juggling acts, and a permanent fixture that is the 30 feet tall, “Full Moon Party Haad Rin Koh Phangan” sign that is set alight during every full moon party. There will be a lot to eat and drink as the bars also serve barbecues, and there will be a lot of street food as well to keep you energized and fresh with party cocktails, buckets, and everything else.   The odds of your travel to Thailand are probably to be a part of the legendary Full Moon Party. Koh Samui is very busy during this time so it is better to plan ahead and make your that you, your friends, or your group, is able to get to Haad Rin beach quickly and safely.   You can do that by booking a speedboat with us so you can simply enjoy later. All you will then have to do is pick up an alcohol bucket, get body paint and glow sticks, and get the party started.   How Full Moon Party Speed Boat Transfers Work   Speedboats operate several times an hour, departing from 17:00 until 00:00.   - Hotel transfers are between 90 minutes prior to departure time. Please ensure you are waiting in your hotel lobby during this time. - Bookings are made for hourly departure intervals, e.g. booking 18:00 is an 18:00-19:00 departure time with a 17:00-17:30 hotel pick up time. - During peak times (19:00-22:00), due to passenger numbers and demands placed on hotel transfers, expect a waiting time of up to an hour at the pier before departure. - Return journeys back to Koh Samui operate between 01:00-07:00. Due to the nature of the evening, there is no booking return times due to the unreliability of passengers, and is operated on a queue basis. - During peak times (03:00-06:00) there can be waits of up to two hours for the return boat due to heavy demand placed on a limited number of speed boats – Please respect the boat staff during this time.

Both rides will be aboard car ferries, which are spacious, large, sturdy, can withstand tough weather, and include bathroom facilities, sundeck, air-conditioned cabin, plenty of seating, as well as a ship for food and snacks. For people suffering from seasickness, we recommend taking the seasickness pill twenty minutes before the departure.   Koh Samui to Koh Chang by Ferry   To travel to Koh Chang by ferry, you start your journey by taking the ferry from Koh Samui to Chumphon—from Chumphon, which is halfway between Bangkok and Koh Samui, you will take the bus and travel overnight to the capital. This journey takes around twenty-three hours. Hotel transfer is included in Koh Samui and the rate is around 1300 to 2500 Thai Bahts, which saves significantly on the Bangkok Airways service.   Private Transfer to Koh Samui to Koh Chang   We also offer private transfers from Koh Samui to Koh Chang. Visa Run to Penang Malaysia
Visa Run to Penang, Malaysia (3 days and 2 nights) A visa run to Penang in Malaysia is required when your length of stay has nearly expired in your passport. Given the quality of shopping and nightlife, some people prefer the Penang visa run instead of the Kota Bharu one from Koh Samui. The Thai consulate can, at times, be rather strict, but if you are confident and have all the right paperwork with you, then there’s nothing for you to worry about.

Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur
You can travel to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and the home of the world-famous Petronas Towers, from Koh Samui in Thailand. Depending on your budget, the options include bus, train, or plane.   Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur by Bus and Ferry   If you travel to Kuala Lumpur by bus from Koh Samui, it will take about eighteen hours. You will be collected from your hotel in an air-conditioned mini-bus that will take you to the Naton Bus Terminal. From there, you will take a bus to Hat Yai; the journey to Hat Yai also includes a ferry crossing to the mainland port in Donsak that will take only ninety minutes. The bus will continue toward Hat Yai from Donsak.   Once you arrive in Hat Yai, you will have half an hour to switch for the bus that will take you to the Thai-Malaysian border at Sadao into Malaysia, and then toward Kuala Lumpur. Hat Yai is six hours from the border. The journey around the border takes forty-five minutes, and getting the passport stamped for the visa only takes half an hour, at the Thai and Malaysian border controls; when that’s done, you will enter Malaysia and begin your seven-hour journey toward Kuala Lumpur.   All the buses stop at regular intervals, and include the usual facilities, are-conditioned and comfortable as well. The car ferry is sturdy, strong, and spacious, and able to stand strong waves. There is ample seating on the air-conditioned ferry, and the facilities onboard include restroom and a snack shop where you can buy snacks and beverages.   Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur by Train   It takes twenty-two hours to get to Kuala Lumpur from Koh Samui via train. The first leg of this trip is to Hat Yai, which is the same as mentioned above. When you reach Hat Yai, you take a short taxi ride toward the bus station, and then take the bus to the train station, from where you will catch the train for the Sentral Station in Kuala Lumpur; this journey will take fourteen and a half hours. The train will have second-class sleeper seats, as well as seating carriages, available. It will reach Kuala Lumpur by early morning.   The second-class sleepers are recommended because the berths are comfortable and structured in a dorm-style manner against the walls of the carriage, on the central aisle. Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur by Plane   You can find direct flights for Kuala Lumpur from Koh Samui; Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Kuala Lumpur, is thirty-five minute or thirty-five kilometers away from KLCC. There are daily flights for Kuala Lumpur, and the journey only takes an hour and forty-five minutes. The price of the tickets is between 7000 and 11000 Thai Bahts if you fly with Firefly Airlines. Although this does not include a transfer to the Koh Samui airport from your hotel, you can book it with us separately.   With Samuidaytours, you can also find flights for Kuala Lumpur from Surat Thani Airport—sixty kilometer or forty-five minutes from KLCC. The flights from Surat Thani are cheaper and you can save between a 1000 to 35000 Thai Bahts. Although the flight is the same, the crossing to Surat Thani via bus and ferry adds another 3-4 hours to your travel time. Since getting to Surat Thani only costs 750 Thai Bahts, you save money overall, so this is the better option for people for whom time is not an issue. Besides, the transfer from hotel is included if you pick the latter.   When you reach Kuala Lumpur airport, you will come across taxi counters before you pass through the security. If you want to take a cab, you will have to pay in advance and get a voucher that you will show to the taxi driver. These taxis are run by airport and are the safer option. But when you exit the airport, you will also find unofficial taxi drivers with whom you can negotiate the price. They are not under airport administration, so there is no guarantee with them.   If you want to book a flight for Kuala Lumpur, or have any questions in general, feel free to contact us.

Koh Samui to Chiang Mai
When going from Koh Samui to Chiang Mai, people who want a taste of Thailand usually go by buses and trains; but we also have flights available if you want to save your precious time.   Koh Samui to Chiang Mai by Bus and Ferry   The buses for Chiang Mai leave daily from Koh Samui, travelling through Bangkok. The journey takes around twenty-two hours in total, and the buses have both standard and VIP seats.   You will be picked up from your hotel in Koh Samui and taken to the Nathon bus station. The journey begins from Nathon with a short ferry ride, after which you take the bus to Bangkok. The bus will board the ferry separately. It will take ninety minutes to get to the mainland from where you will take your bus to Bangkok.   The ferries are spacious and sturdy enough to withstand strong waves, and are spacious with ample seating. They are air-conditioned, and also have facilities including restroom and a shop for buying snacks, drinks, and food. The ferry journey is very comfortable.   From the Mo Chit bus station in Bangkok, you will change your bus and begin the ten-hour journey to Chiang Mai. There will be signs, as well as bus attendants, that will guide you along.   VIP Bus   The VIP buses have fewer seats compared to the standard buses, therefore they have more room in them, are spacious, and the seats can recline more. The buses are also air-conditioned. On the VIP bus, you will get refreshments and snacks, the price of which is already included in your ticket. There will also be a bathroom on board the bus. You will also be served a hot meal when the bus stops for rest. The VIP buses travel overnight to Bangkok, from where you will switch to the bus for Chiang Mai. The services on the bus to Chiang Mai will be similar, and the journey will take eight hours.   Standard Bus   The standard buses also leave from Koh Samui at night, travelling overnight. The seats are comfortable with a reasonable space and a comfortable recline.   Koh Samui to Chiang Mai by Train   The train takes thirty hours to get to Chiang Mai; although this takes more time compared to buses, the trains are more comfortable, have a bed you can rest and sleep on, and also move around and stretch your legs.   Many tourists consider the train ride a must experience for people visiting Thailand. The train provides a good platform for seeing the beautiful scenery of Thailand, meeting like-minded fellows, having drinks and meeting other travellers to share experiences with.   The train leaves from Surat Thani, so the first leg of your journey is from Koh Samui to the train station. This takes between three to four hours, and the journey begins when you are picked from your hotel. The initial journey is the same as mentioned above, including a bus and a ferry ride. The train will head to Bangkok first, which will take fourteen hours, and then you will change the train and begin a thirteen-hour journey to Chiang Mai.   First Class Sleepers   The most comfortable ones among the aforementioned are the first class sleepers. Second Class Sleepers   Popular amongst youngsters and backpackers due to their affordability are the second-class sleepers; they also save cost on hotels. Second Class Seats   The cheapest among all of them are the second-class seats; they are recommended for people who are on a budget. The carriages are modern and have air-conditioning and comfortable seats that can recline enough for you to sleep on. Light meals are also served on board.   Koh Samui to Chiang Mai by Air   There is one flight from Koh Samui to Chiang Mai per day, and the ticket costs between 6000 to 8000 Thai Bahts. The travel time is only two hours.   Another way to fly to Chiang Mai is to catch the flight through Bangkok. The first part of the journey takes an hour to an hour and a half, depending the type of airplane. You can find more details about this on our website, on the Koh Samui to Bangkok page. You have to reach the airport forty-five minutes before departure.   Once you arrive at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, you can catch your connecting flight to Chiang Mai. Depending on the connecting flight you have booked, you may or may not have to go through security clearance again. In the former case, you will have to pick up your luggage and take a shuttle to the Don Muang Airport, situated on the other side of Bangkok; most domestic flights leave from there.   The flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is of about an hour and a half. Travelling from Koh Samui to Chiang Mai by air, though two flights, will cost you between 4000 to 8000 Thai Bahts, depending upon the airports and flights.

This is the slowest service and takes about five hours to get to Donsak, but is preferred by backpackers and people on a budget due to its low-cost tickets.   This ferry is smaller compared to other ferries and gets affected by stronger waves. It is not unsafe but can be hard for people who suffer from seasickness, so they should take seasickness pills before boarding it. Over 90% of the time, the sea is fine, and you can check the status of the sea and weather forecast on WindGuru so you know what to expect.   All the ferries are maintained under strict checks under Thai Royal Navy to ensure passenger safety and to make sure that they are complying with the latest western standards. If you want a cheaper option and are okay with a boat that may be rocky during rough weather, this is the one for you. When you reach Donsak, you will board the bus to Surat Thani city.

Private Speed Boat Transfers to Koh Phangan
If you plan on a vacation in Koh Phangan this year, whether with friends or family, you can turn it into a memorable experience by heading to your hotel on the island in a private and affordable speedboat.   You can relax and enjoy the view as you ride to your hotel/destination while our expert staff takes care of you and see to your luggage and needs.   All the boats that we have are roomy, spacious, reliable, well maintained, and feature a sundeck as well as a covered area to shield you from the sun. There are splash protectors on the sides of the speedboat to shield you from water spray, and a marine toilet onboard for use whenever needed.   The safety of our guests is our top priority. All of our ships go through checks and maintenance on a regular basis, under the supervision of Thai Marine Authority. The captains in our employments are highly skilled. We provide life jackets and pills for seasickness to our guests, free of all cost.   Moreover, the advantage of chartering a speedboat is that it doesn’t follow a schedule. If you arrive to Koh Samui after the last ferry has left, or your flight is delayed, or you just need some time to see Koh Samui, you can still make it to your destination—to Koh Phangan—on time and on the same day as your arrival with a speedboat.   Our priorities also include making sure that there is an English-speaking guide on the speedboat so that your journey is smooth and convenient—and so that you may ask questions and communicate freely. Our guides have extensive knowledge of the islands and can enlighten you and provide you with all the information you may need.   The duration of the trip depends on your destination in Koh Phangan, but usually the journeys take between twenty-five to fifty-five minutes. The time is perfect to enjoy the tropical coastlines of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.
